Hosted by the Institute of Technology Tralee, in association with North and East Kerry Development, Cantillon 2013 is a Forum being held on the 11th and 12th of April 2013 which challenges the status quo, pushes experts to think differently and allows its audience to really participate in debate on issues that affect our economy and the development of entrepreneurship in Ireland. As Ireland faces a slow economic recovery, Cantillon 2013 offers one of the few public arenas for discussion and debate.
The 2013 Bord Gáis Energy Social Media Awards which will take place on Thursday, 30th May at the Clyde Court Hotel in Dublin are accepting nominations until the 10th April 2013. The Awards which recognise Irish companies for their innovative and business-focused use of social media are open to all businesses across the country.
Eight NovaUCD Companies Take Part in Enterprise Ireland’s High Potential Start-Ups Class of 2012 Showcase
Eight NovaUCD client companies took part in Enterprise Ireland’s High Potential Start-Ups (HPSUs) Class of 2012 Showcase. The event opened by John Perry TD, Minister for Small Business, took place in Dublin’s Mansion House. The event featured 97 new start-up companies supported by the Government through Enterprise Ireland in 2012. Together these 97 high potential start-ups aim to create over 1,600 new jobs and generate €300 million in annual sales over the next three years.

Enterprise Ireland has collaborated with European Professional Womens Network and the Cartier Womens Initiative Awards in bringing them to Ireland for the first time. Monday, 28th January 2013, marked the Dublin launch of the European Professional Women’s Network (EPWN) hosted by Enterprise Ireland and saw 100 professional women from all over Ireland in attendance. EPWN is an international dynamic fast-growing networking and leadership development platform for women of all sectors and industries.
