Wayra, TelefÃ³nicaâs global start-up accelerator, has justÂ announced a new call for projects in order to find new business proposals in the fields of Internet and new technologies. In Dublin, Wayra is based on Sir John Rogerson's Quay and has supported 11 Irish start-ups to date. They are looking to support up to 10 start-ups in Dublin this call andÂ for the best projects that take part in the acceleration programmeÂ will provideÂ financing of â¬40,000; expert mentors andÂ dedicated workspace for up to 9 months for their team.
Wayra is open to any business project with a significant level of technology involved. Over all their callsÂ they have received over 17,000 ideas and proposals and believe that there is always a chance to find new points of view and solutions.
For this wayraCallÂ they have decided to give priority to certain areas in whichÂ they believe there is special potential for growth. If your Project is related to new products or solutions in the field of Analytics (Big Data and M2M), mobile (applications for HTML5 ecosystem) or cloud solutions (virtualisation or XaaS),Â they will pay special attention to it during the preliminary assessment.
