Made in WestmeathMade in Westmeath, the official craft network comprising of 30 craft businesses was officially launched on Wednesday June 15th in the CORE Craft Retail Outlet in Ballinahown, near Athlone, Co. Westmeath. Mr. Bobby Kerr, from Dragons Den launched the network following which there was a a special weekend of craft taking place in Ballinahown showcasing the best of Westmeath craft.

‘Made in Westmeath’ – an exciting new initiative which profiles innovative and quality craft in Westmeath including new collections of jewellery, textiles, handbags, wood products, soaps, fashion, felt works, millinery, bog oak, and much more.

Craft workers would be delighted to hear from you if you would like to purchase any product or if you would like to discuss a custom made piece. They intend to take part in shows and events all across Westmeath so keep an eye on their website for upcoming details. You can see also the work at the craft shop and tea rooms at CORE Craft and Design Retail outlet in Ballinahown, Co. Westmeath. 

The Made in Westmeath craft group are also now stocked in the gift shop in Belvedere House and Gardens in Mullingar.  An exciting array of jewellery, fashion, wood craft, bog oak, giftware, textiles, and soaps - all made in Westmeath are now available.  For further information please see .
