NovaUCD Reports 2010 Commercialisation Results

NovaUCDNovaUCD, the Innovation and Technology Transfer Centre at University College Dublin, today announced strong commercialisation results for 2010 at the launch of its latest Annual Report. NovaUCD is responsible for the commercialisation of intellectual property arising from research and other knowledge-intensive activity at UCD. During 2010 UCD researchers reported 57 new invention disclosures to the University through NovaUCD.

Briefing For SME’s On How to Do Business In Europe

Irish Exporters AssociationAn event co-hosted by the Irish Exporters Association, Network Ireland and the European Parliament and Commission Representations in Ireland will provide an opportunity for SME’s to learn how to expand into European markets. Starting with highlighting the pitfalls and opportunities of exporting, guests will then hear a number of success stories from entrepreneurs and how each one broke into new markets. Information on bank support and what Europe is doing to support SMEs will also be provided.

The NovaUCD 2011 Campus Company Development Programme (CCDP), which has just commenced, assists academic and research entrepreneurs at University College Dublin in bringing their innovative ideas from intellectual concepts to fully developed and sound commercial businesses. NovaUCD, the Innovation and Technology Transfer Centre, is responsible for the commercialisation of intellectual property arising from UCD research programmes.

Tethras Technologies Launches in US Market at Macworld 2011
