The Donegal Women in Business Network will host its first cross-border networking event with Derry based Women in Enterprise in the first event of its Autumn schedule. Donegal native, Michelle O’Donnell, of Glasshammer Design is also a keynote speaker at the event which takes place on Tuesday 14th September in An Grianan Hotel, Burt. The event will provide an opportunity for members from both organisations to meet for the first time and to promote their businesses.

Donegal County Enterprise Board, in cooperation with the Patents Office, the Enterprise Europe Network and Enterprise Ireland, is hosting a one day seminar on the 23rd September aimed at business people, entrepreneurs and inventors and focused on how business should be aware of and how they can exploit the value of Intellectual Property and the structures available for small businesses and start-ups from the State and Europe.

Serial Entrepreneur and BBC “Dragons’ Den” star Doug Richard is coming to Letterkenny to host a one-day seminar for new and existing businesses on 15th October. The seminar will focus on how to start and grow a successful business, drawing on Doug’s huge experience both as a businessman and as a successful investor in other businesses. The one-day workshop is being organised by Donegal County Enterprise Board and will take place at the Letterkenny Institute of Technology.
